Like most artists, I find inspiration in many and varied ways. One way is by viewing the artwork of others. Another is by experiencing new things. My favorite way of experiencing new things is by traveling and living in different places. Combining all of these, I recently moved to Alberta Arts District in Portland, Oregon for a month (maybe longer). This laid back and friendly neighborhood offers a lot of art and culture, and I am fortunate to be just a few minutes walk from the heart of it all. I have been finding inspiration in all the fantastic murals that shape and color Alberta street. I have explored the street numerous times already, and every time I find a new artwork! I took an artist's date yesterday, enjoyed the warm sunshine, and photographed several of the murals along the way. I hope you find them inspiring!
Where do you find inspiration?
I would love to hear from you!
Thank you for viewing!
If you have questions or comments I would love to hear them. Much love to you all!

Wow, these murals are fantastic! I play Ingress (Google's gps-based game played on mobile devices) and one of the missions is a walk down Alberta street, viewing all of the murals! It's on my list for one of my next trips to Portland and now I'm even more excited about it. Thanks for sharing!

lol No, it's a game, but you have to visit the places in real life in order to play it! I agree, real life is best! Leave a Reply. |
